EFA逝く

2月にHakanが来たときに雑談していて、「EFAが相当ヤバイみたい。状況からいってたぶん潰れる。そうするとフォース・インクも潰れるかもしれない」と聞いて立ち直れないくらいショックで、しかしそんな風評的なことを誰に話すわけにもいかずしばらく忘れていたんだけどね…。3月初旬には倒産していたようです。

22年もやってきた超老舗のディストリビューターだし、ドイツ・ローカルながら世界で知られてる珍しい存在でテクノやハウス以外も手広くやっていたので相当ダメージが大きいんじゃないか。実は、ウチでも一時期取引していたことがあるんだよね。弱小相手にまともなサーヴィス（プロモーションとかね）してくれなかったのですぐやめたんだけど。

夜逃げ同然で盤の回収すらできないという最悪の事態（これ、経験したことある）はないようだけど、個別の店からの未回収の債権（レコード代金ね）はうやむやになるかもっと大きな貸しがあるところに持ってかれちゃうだろうし、ずっと滞っていたという支払われるべきお金はもう戻ってこないので、間違いなく連鎖倒産が起きる（起きている）だろう…

90年代初頭から緩やかに続いていたテクノの春は、これで完全に息の根を止められてしまったと言えるかもしれない。
